disc golf

I had to work 1/2 day today, then went disc golfing. My golf partner & I went to a course we usually don't play, there are quite a few courses around here, some very challenging some not so much. Played glacier ridge a 18 hole course that has the front 4 in heavy woods with narrow lanes, next 11 in the open, then the last 3 in woods again. We played 2 games, -2 on the first and -4 on the next, I've only been playing for 2 seasons and for me this course is not set up for getting a great score, but a mediocre day at disc golf , beats a good day at work any time. oh yeah Danny shot -8 and -4 #$%@*& hahaha he beats me most days so a win for me is a good thing.
My home course is Blendon woods and I average -11 so you can see why I like it . Some of the other courses around are Hoover, difficult unless you have a hell of an arm, Griggs another long throw course, OSU all par threes can be difficult if you get into any trouble because no par 4s to make up with. By the way all these courses are in Columbus Ohio. If you play and want to recommend a course to me I will try to eventually get there. If you want to get together and play one of these courses give me a shout and I'll sure go . Have a good one.

Turtle without a shell

I'm starting this blog to document my efforts to leave this state, both mental and physical. Mentally I'm confused and anxious, due to leaving a six year relationship that has run its course. Both of us realize we want different things from life and to get them we can no longer be together. Our split is difficult because we still live together and will until I leave. Physically I'm in Ohio, a state I have spent a lot of time and effort to leave, and thought that I had left it behind, however I got sucked back in and was stranded.
At one point I owned a RV and had a nomadic life style making jewelery, selling at shows, traveling and generally enjoying myself, I really want it back. This is my story on reaching my goals. I don't have the money to buy an used RV and it would take me another year here to accumulate the money for a RV and enough to stock a traveling show . To me this is unacceptable, I've been here 2 years already and will not be here a third. After inventorying my possessions I realized I own a platform on which to build a Romania style trailer. When in Florida I purchased a 17' boat trailer and built an open topped 10'x5' box on the trailer. I tried to sell the trailer and gather my money for a travel trailer but no luck, then I looking at it one day and thought, hell, I can build a 11&1/2' x 7&1/2' home on it. So this is my effort to both build a mobile lifestyle and a blog, hope some one enjoys hearing about the things I do right and wrong.
